Evo2 5.1 speaker package

Newbie here building a 'Home Theatre'.

Opted for the Denon AVR 1906 and now curious about which speakers to get.

I'm after a speaker package - For sheer looks I like the tall floor standing speakers that i've spotted in the Evo 2 5.1 set (then I saw the price - ~£700!)

If I could find this sort of money would these speakers be wasted considering I spent ~£300 on the AV system???
