I agree with Londondecca, faulty driver.

Contact the place you got it from and get it returned etc.

It could be a faulty driver but then again it may not ,its a 3way speaker so you should get less midband out of one of the drivers.

Ive just tested mine and if its faulty then so is mine. Ive tried under :dts:NEO:6 music, Dolby pro logic 2:music and 7 channel stereo and it only plays vocals out of one side but sounds good to me :D

I found this a bit with my AE Aesprit Center, you can rarely get it moving with Music.

Wack a good film on it bloody springs to life !

I just buy the Evo Center.
When i play Music i notice that the main sound come from the left
mid/bass + the twiter but NOT from the right mid/bass.
17 years later but in case someone else walks this way ...

I have the same speaker and it had the same effect. I tried swapping the drivers and it prove both were working fine. It's just that they did not push the bass very much. Easy to do, you just need a small allen key to remove them & the wires are easy to swop.

In the end, I found it too distracting to have mid coming out of one side only, so I wired it up so that mid came out of both drivers instead.

Can't say I missed any bass out of them at all. Much improved the sound/experience to my ears too.

May be one day I'll work out how to make a swop the internals for a simple full spectrum + tweeter crossover. Nice heavy drivers.
