She is a monster all right. Definatly gunning for the Z9 and AX10ai. I love the amp configurations thought. Bi amping as standard to all channels  I would need a bigger place with no near neighbours to be able to use something like that :D

5 x component inputs, and 3 x HDMI, and a DVI-D is NOT to be sniffed at!!

If you look at the rear panel it seems as if the video inputs and the ethernet/firewire connections are on plug in modules - maybe upgradeable ??

    Think about this:

    10 x 170 watts = 1700 watts + the processor, etc, with a 1200KVA transformer...

My digital power has 6 x 120 watts = 720 watts with a 1500KVA transformer... Just for the sake of it, their 2 x 120 watts uses the same 1500KVA transformer...

Also digital powers have almost twice the efficiency, need almost half the juice for the same output...

Shows that receivers, even top ones, dont have enough power, better buy a 3805, for instance plus a separate power, IMHO...

This might tempt a few people, if you can find a dealer that will do 0% for 3 years it only works out at £125 a month. I OFF TO START LOOKING NOW!!! :rotfl:

    HAHA, like the attitude monkeylegs!

I felt guilty when I totalled up the cost of my system - and my amp was only £300!! Never mind £4500!!!

Can you imagine what speakers you'd have to get to match this?!?! Do they make 'em that powerful???

Has the world gone mad or are you all going to dash out and buy one? It might be big but it's £4500 and it's made by Denon! Not trying to slate Denon here but they are not the last word in HiFi.
Add a decent source to this amp and for the same money you could get yourself an ex demo Unidisk and Power amp. Quality rather than quantity.
Admitedly I haven't heard it yet but judging by the specs it's grossly underpowered.
Not only that, one power supply to power everything that this has? Call me old fashioned but I can't see how this is going to cut it. Still I guess power isn't everything.
Let's hope Denon can keep up with the demand.....
