What a game - pure unadulterated mobile crack...Yep, its that addictive.

Before playing Mario Golf I never really liked any games of the genre but MG was astounding (esp. multiplayer) and I was hooked so when I grabbed my PSP and read the rave reviews of EG I scooped it up.

Initially I was disappointed by the game as it didn't push the same buttons as MG but after a while it really grew on me and now I think I actually prefer it to Mario's caper.

If you haven't got it I recommend you buy it - irrespective of wether you enjoy this type of game because I can assure you that after a few rounds you will become as much of a fiend as I :smashin:

the people who made everybodys golf also made mario golf but everybodys was first, nintendo just put there characters into it.it is a hell of a game though BUT i detest the way the course`s wont open up that easily :( i love a challenge but this is ridiculous imo.

It's not that hard, is it? This is the first video games machine I've owned in many years and before this I'd probably played just 10-15 hours of video games in my life. However, so far I've gone through the game and lost just once - opening up every extra item, character and course I've come across. I assumed it was a pretty easy game because I'm no ace on video games that's for sure!

Believe me, when you unlock the last 3 courses, you'll wish you hadn't. Tough as nails.

Every item is just for decoration, apart from the clubs and balls.

Dino Park is even harder than Royal Links. I hate those recessed bunkers. Get too close to the edge and it's two shots to get out properly.

In all fairness they are aimed at different gamers, I hate the cutesy Nintendo esc look and feel of everybodys Golf (that why I bought a Sony). I have been bought Tiger Woods 06 and it is a great game with excellent loading times but it does have a more 'realistic' feel.

They are both great games it just depends on what you are looking for

Tiger Woods is def for those people that prefer a more realistic game of golf, EG is a very arcadey quick blast kind of game - Just the kind of golf I enjoy :D

Hotshots/everybodys is deceptively hard despite the cutesy exterior

Well I've unlocked all the courses, maxed out all the character loyalties won gold & now working my way throught he Platinum level. Its only with the Platinum level is taking me 2-3 goes to win each game. Love it to bits & very addictive but not really hard. Saying that, I still haven't had a hole in one!!!

Opened Royal Links and am on Bronze. Getting all loyalty on Aaron at the mo.

This game is what? Mobile Crack? :smashin: I like that, and it's true.

It is getting hard though, but i'm 1337 enough to cope.

I did have a Hole In One but that was in Multiplayer and the damn thing didn't record it! Now I have no proof and no-one believes me. Bugger!

How is Virtua Tennis? Does it compare well to the excellent Dreamcast version?

I'm not doing to well at EG, started doing a few of the challenges last week - putting is a bitch to get right but so satisfying when you sink one from 40 yds :smashin:

Using the first bird as my main character at the moment, how do you unlock other chars as I'm building up quite a bit of loyalty/stat upgrades with her and would prefer someone a bit more powerful.

virtua tennis is as good a game on a handheld as you could imagine , i feel that it is lacking some of the subtilties of the dc version, the control was better with the dc version........ EG is a great game , so addictive !!!! you get more characters as you continue through the challenges , you need to play gold star games, once you have collected enough you will be give the oppertunity to challenge another player , beat them and the character becomes playable

Hi people - I have been following this thread with interest. I actually much prefer the arcade type golf games like Everybody's Golf - but tell me, is "Hot Shots Golf" just the US version of Everybody's Golf?

    Regards GreenBhoy

I had a brief play on this with my friends PSP and I thought it was great. It brought back so many fond memories of the DC version. Definitely my next purchase.
