Anybody own this? Quite fancy it but it's another 50 quid job...
I do. You dont want to hear this, but it was briefly free on the store on Friday as a mistake.
I managed to get it ans was about to post here but Sony recognised their error and closed the door.. interestingly, its shown as Unavailable right now, so its almost like its been removed from sale (but perhaps thats just because i have "purchased" a free version and its confused the store). Super Star Dust shows the same for me too (unavailable, not free)
To answer your question.. its good.. infact beter than imexpected.. but I am not sure i would pay full price for it, as i a, still not convinced that big full priced games lile this are best suited to VR. Personally i am enjoying the £16 games much more.
The only full priced game i have bought so far is Battlezone and i dont think thats going to get much play.

Yeah that was stupidly short. You literally take off, have a quick dogfight and then that's it!The Eve Valkyrie demo is far too short to get an idea whether it's a purchase or not.

Yeah true. I must admit that as a demo it didn't really do what it was intended to do for me (i.e. get me to buy the game). On the other had, the VR worlds, Rush of Blood and Thumper demos got me wanting to buy the full games. That might be all there is to it
Or in my case go "wat inverted controls! up... no down... arrrghhh left, right, down... argh up", <demo finishes>Yeah that (Eve) was stupidly short. You literally take off, have a quick dogfight and then that's it!
I got a free copy from Shopto because they didn't deliver my PSVR on launch day. Haven't played it yet but enjoyed the demo (all 3 seconds of it!).

I used to play a lot of flight games inverted, but just can't do it anymore it seems.
And in a space game with no atmosphere the pilot should be able to choose as they wish...that's how a real plane works.
On the normal pad the default settings where spot on for me. Very precise and smooth I was getting 8 to 12 kills per round. Can anyone please tell me how to set the controls so I can fly with the left stick and aim with the right stick? The defaults are doing my head in! What are people using?
