Apart from one or two titles (and the ones that I'm almost certain won't be released when that list says they will be) that's a really, really depressing list of games...Metal Slug is probably the cream of the crop there - bet it doesn't even reach 3,000 copies in this country though

PS2/GC lineups aren't much better either...the first half of 2004 is going to be terrible IMO. It's a good job so much good stuff was released in 2003 (let's me catch up on all the golden stuff I missed)

Prince Of Persia is supposed to be very very good.

I dont have a platformer on my xbox at the moment so i can see this in the pipeline.

Prince of Persia is one of the 5 best games of last year IMO.

Apart from Viewtiful Joe and Virtua Fighter 4: Evo there is nothing that compares to it as a quality, 'overall' package

Beyond Good & Evil is also very, very good.

Prince of Persia is VERY good.

And I cannot believe we're getting a PAL release for Metal Slug 3.
After the US PS2 version was canned (Sony's old no 2d policy?) I thought there's no chance we'll get the Xbox version over here.

A must buy in May but like RL123 said I wonder how many people will buy. SNK games have a place in every gamer's collection.

Prince of persia, i played that on the pc. Good, but far too easy and short. Beyond good and evil, also good, but overrated imo.

Dead or alive ultimate looks to be phenomenal. Online playing in a beat-em-up. It doesnt get much better than that. Also my favourite fighting series, due to the heavy emphasis on blocking and countering. VERY realistic!

Dead or Alive is ok but not really a patch on Virtua Fighter 4 Evo or even Soul Calibur IMO. An online beat em up would be fun though.

Don't say the D.O.A words in the same sentence as Virtua Fighter:D

I've only played DOA2 in any kind of depth and it's 'ok'. It's far too shallow though, repetitive moves, sloppy control mechanics (even with a DC stick:eek: ) and far too easy to win through button bashing.

Metal Slug 3 is practically an exclusive (outside of Japan, anyway) and that's easily the best game in that lineup. If the Xbox had more games of that calibre I'd buy one in an instant:rolleyes:
