    Hi,

Are units like the MVP that do video in as well as out?

I'm planning to upgrade my system with plasma and freeview PVR. Probably the NEC 42VR5 and FVRT200. To save the PVR recordings I could get a DVD recorder, burn to RW/RAM then use Nero on PC to edit etc. (I might need some other software for menus perhaps, not sure but Nero is said to read VR files).

I was thinking about the Panasonic E55, only DVD-RAM but has component outputs so I assume a good DVD player (freeing up my current DVD player for another room). Or the Samsung DVD-R100E, cheaper, does DVD-RW, but no component only RGB.

However, I got to wondering if there was a MVP that could take video in? I could then dump straight to PC. BTW there is wired ethernet (100M) available.
