I am looking to extend my existing Ethernet cable which is installed under our laminate flooring and I was wondering about a couple of things.....

1) Does adding an extension cable impact upon the performance of the existing connection? we currently get BT Inifinity at 40mbps and I don't want to lose any speed

2) For some reason I can only find them in Grey, does anyone know where I could get a white version?

Hope someone can help with this.........

1. Only if it extends beyond the allowed range which you are unlikely to exceed in a house.
2. Cat 5,5e or 6 ?

You could just use an RJ45 Coupler and any CAT6 cable you choose.

Cheers mate, I've ordered one and I have another cable so I reckon I'll be good to go.

Thanks.
