Not sure if this helps but I recieved my ET 2 disk set this morning from Future Entertainment, and it too is the Canadian version, there is french writing but it's minimal. Had a quick look at the film and some of the extras, looks fantastic, I bet the 3 disk set is amazing!!!

    Hi h0l1yw0od
I’ve just received my copy of ET Ultimate set from Play I can’t find any French writing on it.
The book is in English as seems to be the rest of it.

    Jason….

P.S. did you have a pay import VAT and Clearance fee on your copy?

    Hi

Thanks for the info. I didn't get any customs/extra charges on my set. Thought I might as I'd read that someone else had.

    Hi

I thought it would be in French as the majority of Plays discs come from Canada and Universal have jumped on the miltilingual /French/English cover thing. Most people don't seem to care about it but I guess I'm just fussy.

I Think the IMG tags are deliberately voided to prevent people from posting unnecessary pictures in their sigs. Since too many people think their sigs should contain essays...

If you find out how to claim back the customs charges let me know as I got stung as well.
Wouldn’t mind but on the label its on about consignments entering the European Community Via the postal system are subject to customs charges Belgium is a full member of the EC which is where it was shipped from.

I completely agree, it's a stunning box set, the first proper one for a DVD I've seen so far, takes me back to buying laserdisc boxsets and at £40 I personally think it's a bargain, especially when I think how much I paid for my LD one's which ranged anywhere from £80 to £200
