    Hi all,

I have just got into downloading from Kazaa and I was wondering if it's possible to create a folder of mp3's and then somehow insert them in an e-mail so they can be sent????

    Thanks

You can create a folder to put your MP3's into but as for sending them via email you will still have to attach each file individually :)

Yes but i think you will have to zip up the folder first.

How many mp3s are you thinking of e-mailing? If the emailed file is to large the receiving ISP might reject it.

    This is piracy.

you are downloading copyrighted material that you have not bought and now seek advice on distributing this copyrighted material to other like minded pirates

Just cos he said MP3 doesn't mean it's copyrighted material.

If you want to send the whole lot in one go then just zip up the folder and send the one zip file. I hope you've got a decent connection though :)

    OK, maybe.

However the "principal use of kazza and its predecessor was for such an activity.

For a band to offer MP3s (or WAVs) they would, I would have thought, have a website to promote thier band, not offer the tracks on an anonymouis kazza connection.

Can anybody name a legitimate kazza peer that is allowing downloading of material thats has its owner's permission.

if yes then I'll shut up, get out, and not bother this thread again.

Indeed it is. And it's 99% probable that he is downloading illegal MP3's.
But IMO it's not right to judge someone. Would you want people having a go at you every time you broke a speed limit cos they happen to stick to it religiously?

BTW shodan, if there's anything you can't find on kazaa, let me know :D ;)

Kazaa themselves offer a lot of mp3's of bands, all legitimate

    http://www.kazaa.com/us/picks/index.htm

I don't think anyone can keep a straight face and say that everything on Kazaa is legit, but certainly some is.
