is this printer any good? i.e is it worth getting this or searching around for an old stock r200 and hopefully save some money?


im after a printer, mainly for printing pictures and i know the r200 was a good printer and i hvae no use for the card slots on the r300

Afair the R220 is the budget version of the R series.
About £50 i think.
I use a cheap Lexmark for home printing and use online services for archival prints that are worth saving.
All cheap printers have a good enough quality for home use in my opinion. Theyre solds as a "loss leader", its the cartridges that makes the money.

yep cost wise id use photobox for proper images


but i want something for general home use

anyway i guess this will drop in price by the time i get my pc up and running again, i can use my dads printer until then, seeing as im moving back home *tears*
