Hello there,
yesterday I got an Epson EH-TW7000 to replace my old and trusty BenQ W600+. I wanted a quiet 1080p projector with some quality of life features (like lens shift and frame interpolation) and the option to dip into 4k-territory from time to time.
Mostly it should be used for 1080p streaming (Netflix, Prime, ...).
The projector is connected to my PC (Windows 10, AMD graphics card) via HDMI.
Now I got a problem:
The PC seems to be recognising the projector as an 4k-display and provides it with 3840×2160 signal, even if I set the resolution in Windows to 1080p.
I neither couldn't find the option to set the projector resolution to 1080p nor could I get my graphics card to change the signal resolution.
As of now I can't use frame interpolation, as it is limited to 1080p material.
If anyone knows what can fix my problem I would appreciate the help.
