When printing out onto photo paper shadows are mottled rather than greyer.

Rather than grey it is like a leopard if that makes sense.

    ANy ideas please

How many ink cartridges are in the printer.

It sounds to me like a partially blocked jet in the black cartridge slot.

Try running a nozzle clean a few times.

Also, what dpi are you printing at?

    Argggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Found it!

Windows defaults the printer to crappiest settings each time.

Found a speed over quality slider!

    TSR2 looks better now!
