Superb. I had to order one, it'd be rude not to.

:( Dam!!! Why did you have to tell me that. I can feel my credit card starting to melt already. It's not like I even want a new printer as I have the great Canon BJS900 for photos, but I want to be able to print directly onto CD/DVD's :suicide: .
Oh well if I get bored at work tomorrow then I might just end up with 2 printers  .

    Thanks daveyboy

    Mark.

Picked up one of these last night from PC World - very impressed so far!! 6MP piccies from my EOS300d come out superbly (the walls of my house are going to be covered with A4 prints at this rate!!)

Worth noting that although the cartridges are a couple of quid more than those of the 830 /915/ etc the ones for the 900 hold substantially more ink (like about 50% more) so hopefully it should prove cheaper to run in the long term...... (yes, I was sad enough to stand in PC World reading the ink cartridge boxes to compare how many ml each type held!!!)

I have also noticed that Currys are also selling the printer at the same price........so one must have got word from the other to compete!!!!!........
My money is on PC World to follow suit.
