Question Epos Speakers with Cambridge Audio Amp

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has had a listen to Epos speakers with Cambridge Audio amps? I’m thinking of upgrading my speakers from MA Radius 270HD to the Epos K2 and would like them to be a nice match with my Cambridge CXA80 amp, any thoughts?

Hi Adam. The CA will drive the Epos very well.

As for ‘matching’ that’s largely hifi bollocks speak.

An amp needs to be able to control the speaker as well as possible. That means it needs the power to be able to feed a signal to the speaker, without clipping, under the speakers most troublesome low ohm load (broadly speaking).

There is nothing to suggest the Epos are a particularly difficult load, and the Cambridge is more than happy to swing impressive current delivery.
