Dorset police have gone out on a limb to stop a paedophile getting his laptop still with images on when he is released as there is a legal black hole.
Please read the eptiition and sign it, share it.
This case is not unique so many other victims and their families have been affected.
Stop sex offenders retaining photo's of their victims - e-petitions
This has to stop.

I'm pretty sure the images in question aren't indecent from what I've read previously. Just pointing it out. Not detracting from your overall point

Fair point but legal images, the point is that the ***** will still have images of her and the effect that has on others.
Also what may be innocent to some can be viewed for indecent purposes by others.
Signing it?

Wouldn't it be terrible if a powerful magnet were accidentally placed near the hard drive of that laptop.

More bloody peado crap. The way it's going, you'd think the whole country was at risk from drowning in them. I think there are far more important things going on in our country than mucky pictures.

Tell you what, talk to a few of the victims that they go on to abuse and say that.

Yes but they are pushing the boundaries to do it, clear legislation would help other forces a lot.
Naturally this should be done in a measured way, not a knee jerk response.

Maybe you need to speak to victims and their families

......ok I'll bite.

What precisely? Open borders, taxing the rich/poor, the weather, UKIP, Fifteen-to-One coming back with Sandi Toksvig?

Show some compassion, such victims don't have a label on their foreheads and you whilst you think your comment may not upset another reader's sensibilities, I think they may well do so.

I am not prepared to discuss this further with you, but feel that you have an unsubstantiated argument here.

@mitchec1 bit strong chap, although I share your opinion on the "subject" , edit the post a little save the mod's a job removing the personal attacks

It not only gives people a bad impression about you if you can't enter a discussion without using profanity to communicate

A big thank you.

Sometimes things just make think we'll you know. I'm not sorry for the original deleted post because my feelings are still the same.

What people think of me is irrelevant but paedophiles and people that dismiss it shouldn't be allowed in society

Pictures of children being abused you mean? There are not that many more important things to address as it goes.

Found out last week one of my old teachers was just arrested for this stuff. Sick looking back as it was fairly common knowledge that he had affairs with at least two pupils, one of which was just 14 and I wouldn't be surprised if there were more.
