    Hi,

I'm trying to resolve a problem i have with my EP35 and ask if anyone knows the rollback procedure for downgrading the firmware from 2.0 to 1.3?

I have aquired the US A35 1.3 firmware but i'm sure it needs patching or something as i have already burned it to a disk but the player states that it has been upgraded and quits without loadcing the firmware and downgrading to 1.3.

    Has anyone done this sucessfully?

    TIA.

Out of interest, what's the problem with your ep35 - why do you need to roll it back to 1.3?

    Thanks Kingfats:)

This time it worked and have got back to 1.3:thumbsup:

Did it fix my problem? NO:(

    I'll see what Toshiba say.

My EP35 won't output 576i for PAL and 1080P24 for HD-DVD, when using the resolution setting 480i/576i, which is suppose to disable upscaling, instead the player insists on putting out 480i 60hz for HD-dvd's:(

I've received an email saying that the problem has been passed on to technical, waiting for them now!

1 good thing being at v1.3 is it now always sends out 1080P24!
