Interesting this, I noticed on the back of the case it states that the ratio is 2:40:1, when the original is 2:35:1.

Anybody know if this is possible.

    Cheers

    Damo :)

I was wondering about this new release also. It states it in a 2 disc special edition but wasent the original Uncut release a double sided disc so in away that was a 2 disc release, does this new release have any bonus extra features which were not on the original release?

Thanks for that, looks like it has some nice bonus extra features compared to the last release and if the R2 release was taken from the same cleaned up print as the R1 release then it defently seems worth getting.

My brother is rather annoyed though, he put off getting the last release because last year was the 30th Anniversary of the films release and he was certain a new 2 Disc 30th Anniversary Edition would be released but he finally relented and got the Uncut R2 release back in Febuary this year after the 30th Anniversary had passed, you can imagine his annoyance when he saw the 30th Anniversary Edition on the shelves the year after the 30th Anniversary lol
