:hiya: Do you by any chance have a Xbox 360? If so, how have you conected it?
If not, what console(s) do you have? How are they connected?
    What are the results like?

    Cheers.

    why the DVE dvd?
it has good 5.1 demos and info on speaker placement.

    i dont have a xbox360, just a ps2.
at the minute, i using a red and white av cable from the tv for sky and games and an optical lead for the dvd.

the only problem i have is that audio cuts out now and then on the dvd.
    time to check all connections

Are you pleased with your purchase?
Is the audio experience what you expected?

    Would you recommend the system?

the system is good, but its just above the quality i was getting from my old toshiba crt 5.1 tv

the sound still cuts out on dvds,,i think its to do with quiet spots in the film..it assumes the input has been switched off and theres a 3 sec delay in sound once it re activates.

still..good sound for the cash..very loud and clear with lots of inputs
    recommended

I got one recently. I'm generally quite happy with it. The only problem is that in some cases it does cut out. I do think it's when it doesn't get any input for a moment. It'll be fine for most things but then from time to time it'll happen on a program. It's never happened with music, just TV programmes or some DVDs.

I have had the Ds1333 for about 4 months, Though generally very good,, I must deeply complain about the white noise cut outs.
They are so annoying I am thinking of buying a new set just to get rid of this problem.
What made Accoustic solutiuons put in a cut off unit in such a low energy amp ?
There is nothing more annoying than trying to watch a film or TV and having the dialogue cut out on you so you miss the plot .....????
If I could find the cut out boards I would discconect it , but the CC is just a master board.,
    My sugestion...
Buy seperates and give this a wide birth... sorry Accoustic solutions,, but you made a great product, then ruined it.:thumbsdow
