Think this will appeal to some film fans so I'll post it here as well as the Music Forum.

Only just found out about this whilst browsing through Play's 'Coming Soon' section

Ennio Morricone Concerto on DVD and in DTS no less.

Refreshing change from the run of the mill film DVDs

    Released 10/11/2003

    Tracklisting...

Cinema Paradiso / Once Upon A Time In America / the Legend Of 900 / The Good, The Bad And The Ugly / A Fistful Of Dollars / the Good, The Bad And The Ugly (The Ecstasy Of Gold) / La Luz Prodigiosa / The Battle Of Algiers / Sacco e Vanzetti / Indagine Su Un Cittadino Al Di Sopria Di Ogni Sospetto / Sostiene Pereira / La Classe Operaia Va In Paradiso / Casualties Of War / Queimada - Abolisson / Il Deserto Dei Tartari / Riccardo JJJ / The Mission

Looks good :smashin: , one for the Xmas list for sure :)

Sacco e Vanzetti :smashin: I haven’t heard that in ages. Wouldn’t mine seeing it again. I read the book on them some time ago boy that was a long read.

I take it is a concert with Ennio Morricone conducting an orchestra.

By the way I would get one of the mods to move replies and close one of the threads (rule 8 on duplicate posting).

    Yes

    I think it's a 'crossover' post.
Didn't want anyone who might not visit the Music forum to miss it and vice versa.

In which case I would word it very differently as it still is classed as a double post as rule 8 says you have to choose the appropriate forum.

Sorry but I know your dilemma but I suppose all music DVD’s fall into this category albeit film music which I personally have replied to it in this forum rather than the music one in fact I’m just about to start one on the Fantasia here.

Blimey! In my estimation, the concert must run for
    about 34 hours!:D

No mention of either 'once upon a time in the west' or 'a fistfull of dynamite'. I hope these make it onto the DVD.

Went to the first concert Morricone did in London a few years back, and it was superb - especially the afore mentioned 'West'.
