Hi I was wondering if anyone had any news on Enigma, the film of the excellent Robert Harris book?

The film was out last year, staring Kate Winslett.

I have tried to look on their web site but it just crashes my pc DOH!

    Any info would be good.

    Cheers Rog

Got a trade preview (rental) on video on friday, so if it is released at the same time as the rental then probably released in a few weeks.

Its Buena Vista in the UK R2 so expect a 4 - 6 month rental only window from its recent rental release. Therefore expect a retail release from August onwards.

Its US theatrical release has been repeatedly delayed now due mid April but only very limited release from a minor distributor (can't remember which) so may get a DVD release in US around same time as UK.

This film has taken forever to come to film and DVD (its one of my favorite novels of recent years). Was filmed a few years ago now but Mick Jagger (the singer !) who produced it had great difficultly getting distribution so its been hanging around for ages.
