'English' Prime Minister

Did any one else notice that PM Brown was given the title 'English' Prime Minister when welcomed at the D Day anniversary in France yesterday.
.............and it was a Brit that said it for the world to hear, what a dip.

I think he meant the PM of England, not nationality of the PM, even if Gordo was Nigerian he would have said the English PM.

Then he would still be totally wrong we have no such thing as an 'English' Prime Minister, or as you put PM of England.
