Hi,
I have a Hitachi 24" Widescreen TV (model C24W1TN) which is sitting on a very high shelf. Approx 5ft high off the ground. When looking up at the screen from my sofa, when the picture is very dark you can sometimes see a very thin blue line at the very top of the image.
I have been told by a friend that some TV's have hinden menus, which can be accessed through a code entered from the remote control. These engineer menus allow for the picture to be fine tuned, - for the image to be moved slightly - in much the same way you can move the image on your PC monitor.
Is this true, and does anyone know any websites that may give details about my TV? If its possible to move my TV image up slightly the blue line could disapear.
BTW, if you are standing up looking straight at the TV then the blue line is not visable. I only seem to notice it when looking upwards at the TV.
Can anyone help??
