Hi, I have a problem with my Nissan qx (1997) Its struggling to start from cold, the symptoms are what you would expect form a flooded engine. Could it be a sensor problem? Will it have to go on a diagnostic? Not sure what to do, considering any repair will probably cost more than the cars worth and its starting to become a money pit. Thinking about just scrapping the old girl but cant afford a replacement at the moment.
thanks in advance for your opinions.

Petrol engines are not my cup of tea.
I suggest you remove the plugs and check them. See if your vehicle is firing on all its cylinders.
