    I think PSP's are just a fashion thing because nintendo isn't as big in this country as Sony. However, i think that might change with the DS Lite and the new Wii about to come out

    I think everyone knew the writing was on the wall for UMD movies as soon as they first hit the shelves at a higher price than DVDs but with none of the extra special features. I expect Sony had a hand in the high cost of the format and should have priced them much lower to allow more take up of the system. I don't own a PSP because I could never justify the price for a device with an overpriced movie format, few attractive games and short battery life. People I know that do own one hardly ever play games on it but simply use it as an overpriced MP3 player.
