I have just accidentally caught this 55 minute program on BBC3 in which a ground hog day scenario shows five parallel disasters that be-fall large parts of the world with the last one having the potential to destroy it. It uses convincing fake news reports and slightly dodgy CGI (including CGI tanks in Trafalgar Square!), although I thought the drama was good. Its also being repeated on Monday and next Saturday. See herehttp://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/tv/end_day.shtml

I was looking round my favorites and came across it, I was going to watch it but continued looking what else were on my favorites and got a phone call and forgot about it. I will have to look and see when it is on again and set it on my auto view.
Thanks for pointing it out :smashin:

Some of it was a bit cheesy and the FX weren't as good as hoped, but it was a fun way to spend an hour - nothing at all demanding, just wanton destruction :)

The last one was my fave btw :) What a way to be wiped out, huh?

    :D

Have been wanting to watch this.

Looked at the tv listings to see when it's on DVDcake becuase I assumed it'll be on tonight, wrong!

When you said Monday I assumed Monday night but it was 2am this morning, DOH!

Will have to catch the Friday night/Sat morning viewing instead.

If only i'd have checked the times myself :suicide:

Sorry about that, I did think of clarifying the times the BBC had given but then I just thought nah, it will be ok. I can see where you are coming from though as I too am a late bird, who would have considered that time to be Sunday night and it would have been in the Sunday schedule even though in absolute terms anything after midnight is on the following day.

They ought to sneak End:Day into the old early morning Public Information slot on BBC1 and see if anyone notices/cares/jumps out of their window in sheer terror :p
