friend of mine's been upgrading leads un stuff on his Pio 50MXE1 since I caught him feeding s-video into it for TV and DVD  I think that's actually a crime isn't it?

So he got some component leads and RCA to BNC adaptors 'cause he's got the the BNC inputs :suicide:

But he can't select input 2 which is his component input of his card?
He can't even get to the integrator menu as I can on me 43MXE-1.
    Any ideas?

You have said that the component input is no 2 on the card. This is not the same as the Pio card in which the 5xBNC is technically input 5 in total (or 3 on the card)

Does he have a Pio card or some other maufacturer's card instead eg Aurora?

    Might this be affecting things?

If he does have the Pio card, as I do, then he should select input 5 and configure to component in the normal menu
