We will be emigrating to Australia next Spring and I am wondering whether to buy a Panasonic HS2 here (way cheaper) or wait till I get over to Australia. Does anybody know any reason why the recorder won't work with an Australian tv. (I will be getting a multi region one).

    Thanks

Recording via scart or s-video shouldn't be a problem. The main issue I can see is Australia's PAL B/G system since the Panny tuner is specifically is PAL I. Not really much of a problem if you're using an external tuner of some description.
