    Hi guys,

    I know nothing about speakers,
but is the above centre speaker any good??
Richer sounds are doing this for a tenner and I thought at that price I can't go wrong, and can chuck it in the bin if it's no good :smashin:
My current set-up is a videologic digitheatre (don't laugh, I'm not an audiophile and it sounds reasonable to me).

Would the Eltax be an improvement over the digitheatre center?.
Or can I make other improvements on the Digitheatre, bearing in mind I can't justify to myself spending hundreds of pounds.
Or should I throw it and get something else??? (couple of hundred quid maybe)
Or am I just being a total cheapskate?

    Thanks.

Looks like I'm being a total cheapskate then :rotfl:

Definitely better than my Videologic centre :smashin:
Dialogue is much clearer to my untrained ears.
Going back to my comments about me being a cheapskate, I went out and bought another 2 to use as fronts !!! :rotfl:
    Again an improvement :smashin:
I'm not sure if using them as fronts does anything for imaging though (although I have stood them on there sides).

I've got a Yamaha 557 receiver coming Wednesday. I'll try that and then consider upgrading the speakers.
Is using this model centre, or any centre as a front a mistake??
    And if so, why??? :lease:
