Anyone got any comments - good or bad - about Eltax Starlight, Stargate X1 or X2 speaker systems?

    Hi there,

I've got Eltax Symphony 6.2, granted they are from Richersounds, but they sound superb for a budget set of speakers. The cheaper mission range are good too, but again they fall into the budget category. Either would be good. But don't write off Eltax solely cause they are associated with certain retail companies. They're solid cheap and good to start off with before you start to upgrade.

    Lots a luck,

    EmissarY. <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Just got the Stargate 5.1 set. Well for the money, 109 quid i am quite impressed. The speakers are small and dainty, brackets, speaker wire and screws supplied (crap quality but it's free). The sub doesn't go very low though, 50hz is the lowest, but gets the job done (Top Gun sounds excellent),for the money, and if you are starting out on a low budget then i would recommend something like the Eltax, cheap, reasonable performance and build quality seems good also
