Question Eltax Monitor ATM Atmos Speakers

Do any of you own, or have heard, the Eltax Monitor ATM Atmos speakers? I just spotted them on their website and they look pretty good. Certainly an improvement on the boxy Onkyo Atmos speakers. But there doesn't appear to be any UK distribution for them, as far as I can tell.

Look like a good step up from the onkyos.
Try contacting eltax to see if and when would be available in the uk.
Richer Sounds used to stock eltax speakers they may be able to source them?

I can't find them for sale anywhere in the UK. Looks wise they are very similar to the KEF R50s. At 149 Euro they seemed to be pitched at the Onkyo offering. The Elac would be the nearest, possibly better, available in the UK.

Well my eltax bipole surrounds are still boing great after about 15 years or more, so I've no reason to believe that these wouldn't be up to the same high standard. But yeah, the elacs are pretty similar. Apart from the £110 or so price tag. Ouch.

Gonna hijack this thread, and ask if you now wich would you choose, if any

@gibbsy

I want to upgrade my atmos onkyo boxes (Onkyo SKH-410-B) for the new
Elac A4.2
Debut 2.0 A4.2 Atmos Modules – Elac

But I am considering the Magnat Atmos Shadow 102
Typ: Shadow 102 ATM

They cost pretty much the same, around 250/280 euros (per pair)
Anybody has a opinion about any of them?

Thanks
On paper they look very similar, the Elacs have had several favourable write ups but I know nothing about the Shadow. It's very difficult to audition Atmos modules unless you can actually have them playing with a proper Atmos demo disc. I would think their performance would be similar. I'm a little old fashioned and believe in the heavier the better so on that basis, and a little on looks, I'd try the Shadows.

These seem to be available in Richer Sounds for £129. Has anyone tried them? Might have to go in and demo them and the Elac Debut. Really want Atmos but want to do it properly when I move in the next year or two so would only be a stopgap until then.

Hi analgi did you ever get a chance to demo these and what did you think of them?

Hey, I didn't I'm afraid. That post was about a month after buying my Denon AVR and Q Acoustics 3050 cinema pack. I blew the budget on a better base 5.1 system, so left Atmos until later. I didn't opt for upfiring in the end as there is a light fitting where the left channel would have bounced off the ceiling.

I went with front heights, then moved them to on-ceiling after redecorating the lounge earlier in the year. I was met with some eyebrow raising from my wife when she saw speakers on the ceiling, but she agreed there was a big difference in sound. Cost next to nothing too as I picked up a pair of JBL Control 23 with mounts used for a bargain £30! Think I spent 2/3 of that on cable for them...

Let me guess - thin lips, furrowed brow, slight blooming on the cheeks, a barely audible "yes"? Thats how I know my wife agrees with my standalone decisions.

So has anyone heard these? They’re very cheap, can they be any good?
Ive been wondering the same thing too
If no one replies here, Richer Sounds site has 21 review., 18 owners gave 5stars, three gave 4stars. Lot of positives said about them. Dual Concentric design and they have to meet Dolby`s specs to be able called as "Dolby Atmos" speakers. They certainly are cheap as... :)

My local richer sounds has a terrible demo room. I went to see a projector there but they demoed it showing a film but with no sound and with the lights on. Hardly a great demo. Wouldn’t trust them to demo these properly either to be honest.
I would be attaching to the ceiling but even Eltax’s own site don’t say whether these have any means of attaching to a bracket.

I see that this thread has gone cold since 2019 but I would like to hear anyone's experience of these speakers as I am looking to upgrade into an Atmos setup soon...just doing my homework first :)
