Just under a month since we lost the great Jerry Goldsmith and another legendary film composer passes away.

Bernstein was probably best known for his scores for "The Magnificent Seven" & "The Great Escape", but my personal favourites are his music for "To Kill A Mockingbird" and the very short score he wrote for "An American Werewolf In London" including that beautiful, melancholic piece as Jack & David walk across the moors towards 'The Slaughtered Lamb' pub.

He was 82 and died in his sleep.

    Sad news.

His theme for The Magnificent Seven has to be one of the all time classice ever and the best cowboy theme.
