re-posting this in here as noone replied in other forum,

Has anyone got one of these or seen any reviews?

It appears it can record from ANY of its inputs to hard-disk/DVD-r so scart, freeview etc etc

    http://www.play.com/Electronics/Ele...Freeview_160GB_HDD_DVD_Recorder/Product.html#

£269 Out of stock at play.com at the mo,

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000GHS4DM/ref=sr_11_1/202-7751665-3284615?ie=UTF8

£265 2/3weeks for stock on amazon

I dont think it supports Freeview interactive but does have EPG.

Looks good but is it pants?

What's so different about that?...standard behaviour for any DVDR.

This one also supports Divx via cd/dvdr or even through a usb hard drive plugged into its usb port.

As far as i can tell its the only unit to do all that in one with freeview.

I've plumped for this one from Amazon. There other players seem to get OK reviews and I've been called a Brand Slave so am trying it out.

Will report back when it arrives ;)
