Hi, looking for some electronic engineer advice please.

I have a 6 year old LE37R88BD, it's been a great TV, but recently developed a mild pixelation and poor quality picture fault, but TV menu's when selected is crystal clear? Getting worse now, the pixelations are about 3-5mm square and almost un-watchable.

All menu's have been re-set (Though they were never changed in the first place), and its not on any strange settings in any of the menus.

Picture bright across the screen as per-normal.

TV menu is perfect and clear (Whilst the picture behind is awful).

Same fault on different inputs, ie co-ax / Scart

I was thinking Tcon board? but then would the menu not be poor quality as well?

Lots of spares available for these on Ebay.... but I need to know what to buy....?

I can do tests with a DMM, though I imagine its more scope work required.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, willing to give it a go.

Thanks,
Stephen
