    Hello all.

My living room has 4 largish black out blinds which reduce the amount of light entering the room significantly, but as they were not custom made, they do not black out the room compeltetly.

These are standard of the shelf blinds from B&Q, do it all etc (I think they are draper blinds but i could be wrong)

As anyone ever tried to add electric motors to their blinds, together with a remote control controling module?

I would imagine 12 vdc system would be powerful enough.

I would look forward to hearing any one who has attempted such a project.

    Adrian

I am sure their are a few people who make/sell/fit these.
Have a search or try looking around at B&Q type stores.
