Can anybody advise me on the best type of blind to use to black out my home theatre room. I would like them to be electric. Has anyone heard of electroglide?

Not heard of Electron Glide. Only people I can think of that might do electric blinds, or know of someone who does, is Silent Gliss, based in Kent.

    Try www.silentgliss.co.uk and email them.

    Hi There,
I am in the process of converting my loft into a Home Cinema, and I have a Velux window, which I have purchased a Electric black out blind, from Velux. This is battery operated, 1000 openings per battery, one downer, they are quite expensive.

What kind of prices are they? I'm struggling to find much on the web.

EDIT: Sorry to resurrect such an old thread!

I need to buy 5 black out blinds and Silent Gliss are very expensive.

Silent Gliss coss about £1k per window and this is for a relatively normal size about half wall weight and not that wide.

What costs are associated wiht Velux and others?
