    Hi

I just picked up this inc morrowind expansion for under £6 from CD keys. I cant find any thread about it so I am just making one.

As a noob to MMO RPGs are there any good hints and tips you could give before i start?

    (spoiler free please).

I will be playing with 1 or 2 friends and i know at least 1 mate wants to be a tank. I fancy some kind of range based magey type player but will probably also have to be some kind of healer for the group as well....

any good hints - about character build - or stuff to do in the game in general would be greatly received.

    many thanks
    Mike.

If you add @aslird to your friends list, i'll be happy to give you any advice you want ingame :)

Otherwise - new player experience in ESO is a bit odd, as you will start in the latest expansion area (Morrowind for you). Make sure your friends also have the morrowind expansion, or you will be starting in different areas.

Sorcerer is the "classic" magic user, as their class skills include a lot of lightning spells, but anyone can be a mage by equipping a destruction staff. Dragonknight is also a good mage, as they have a lot of fire abilities. If you want to mainly cast spells, then level up magicka, and choose magicka gear where possible.

Templar is a strong healer, as they have a dedicated to healing, but again, any class, with the right build, can be a healer, as long as they are carrying a restoration staff.
