EH50 Recording from VHS - Connection Problem

    Do you want to use front connectors of the EH50? If the video is going to be a permanent connection to the DVD recorder then why not just use a standard SCART lead from the video to SCART socket 2 on the EH50? You're right most videos only output a composite signal, S-VHS videos will do S-Video I believe.

    If you want to use the composite RCA connectors on either the front or the back of the EH50 then either of those adaptors that you have linked to will work. Plug the adapator into the video (if it has an in or out setting make sure it is set to out) then use composite video (Yellow) & stereo left right (White & Red) RCA cables to link the two machines.

    Thanks for the help.
    The reason for not using the rear scart lead is that is where the set top box plugs into and I don't want to keep switching it.
