    Hi all,

I have tried various brands of Panax Ginseng (Natures Way, Solgar) but found them mildly effective.
Can anyone recommend any good brands for good quality Korean, Siberian or American ginseng?

    Thanks.

This is where I read it Beginner Triathlete
but things may have changed since then during my search for this article I did read that it seems that some disreputable manufacturers weren't putting enough of the "active" ingredient in ginsenosides. The recommended dose is a minimum of 200mg but it must contain between 3-6% ginsenosides.
    Hope this helps.

There is not enough conclusive evidence that ginseng on it's own does much for energy levels, but Solgar is still the best and if it has no effect then it tells a story

Its the quantity and not the brand. I have been using Nature's Way and Solgar, both 500 mg and standardized. If they give a minute effect then I think 100mg will not do anything.

You guys are annoying now I have read up and read some reviews I am going to test the ginseng theory. I have been suffering from lethargy and tiredness recently I know I drink too much caffeine too so I have ordered some ginseng powder to make drinks. I will let you know how it goes.
