I have had my Panasonic DMR-EX75EB for some time and it is great.
I want to copy a rugby match from HDD to a DVD-R but I would like to remove the first 5 minutes and the last 30 minutes approx'.
I have read the manual but I cannot understand how to do it.
Could some kind soul talk me through it?

    Hi Henry,

    There are many possible methods.

Perhaps the simplest. Use the Chapter editing method:

Play the material at the start point that you want to save, and press the yellow button.

That will insert a chapter mark.

Navigate to the end point of the material you wish to keep and press the yellow button again. This will insert another chapter mark.

Now stop and go to the navigator. Select the title you are dealing with ... and press the sub-menu button.

    Select Chapter view.

In chapter view select the first chapter and press pause button. This will put a tick on that chapter to indicate it has been selected.

The second chapter is the one that you want to keep. Bypass that and select the third chapter. Press pause again,

You should now have a tick on the first and third chapter which indicates they are both selected. The middle chapter [ which you want] should be unticked.

Now press 'Delete' on the remote.

You will get warnings that you are about to delete two chapters.

If you are happy that you have the correct chapters selected, proceed to delete.

Your title will now be as you wanted.
