Editing Windows Media Player 7 video

    Anyone know of any decent free/cheap software for editing video encoded in Windows Media Player 7 format?

    My research so far seems to indicate there is very little out there, unless you buy Adobe Premiere

    If you have Windows XP you can download MovieMaker 2 from the Microsoft website for free. this will edit .wmv files if thats the format you mean
