I am unable to edit DV on my PC due to the software restrictions put on by my workplace :thumbsdow

Having recently purchased a Panny E60 so that I can archive my DV, what level of editing will I be able to do using DVD-RAM, using the E60 only?

You can fine tune the footage on DVD RAM, that's what I do. You just can't add menus etc :-(

    I sure can :)

I copy an hours worth of camcorder footage via the DV input onto a single sided RAM disk set to record at XP mode. I then use the partial erase to delete the bits that I don't want. I have another Panasonic player hooked up, so I then burn the footage onto DVD-r on XP mode.

You can't move the chapters around either, but then if you want more features you need a PC :-(

If you need anymore help, give me a shout mate.

    Regards

    Dude

I know, I know. It's in the dark ages for some of us, but I haven't got the space or the cash for a PC!
