Eclipse 470 problem

I've had several prolems with this projector which I have managed to fix (EHT & tube heater voltages) but now I have another. While adjusting the picture size the picture blanked out & the letter E is now permanently showing on the remote display. This normally shows channel number, video mode etc. Does anyone know the meaning if any of the letter E ?

Over size protection by the sound of it. Which cuts in to protect the draw on the power supply.
Try selecting a different source and see if it will allow you to adjust the size back.
If it is a PC you are using then up the resoloution which should force the size to reduce anyhow.

Not sure of the specific E message
