Took approx 1-2secs on 2mbps BT broadband? Never had a problem with it before? Maybe just the route to the site from your provider being a bit slow at the mo?

Maybe it is a ploy to make you think 'my PC seems slow, maybe it is time for an upgrade' ? lol

I rate ebuyer quite highly for an online retailer. I have probably spent in excess of £3k over the last few years, and have recieved good quality service.

    Cheers

If it's of any use I also use ebuyer quite a lot and I've had similar experiences with very slow access but this only happens about 10-20% of the time. My isp is Demon.

Ebuyer's site is often pretty slow anyway and it obviously does something that confuses misconfigured caches. No reason it should just happen to NTL either.
