One a few have mentioned this in various other threads so thought I'd start s thread for discussion to get people's thoughts.
What is the general stance on people selling steelbooks not yet released on eBay?
Reason I'm posting. My other half was browsing eBay. Found a steelbook that she thought I'd like(my birthday soon). Pushed for time(she has two jobs and is a mum) she read the description, was happy so ordered.
She emailed the seller as the item was not received. He mailed back saying it would be sent on release date next month.
Now on one hand, she should have done her research on the date of release. (And also the cheapest place to buy it). But in the description there is an amount "in stock" and also states it will be shipped three days after payment received.
To a lot of ppl here this will all be obvious. But to somebody that doesn't understand how many profiteers are out there it's confusing.
I had to explain to her that they don't have it but they can sell it. She's still confused
Thoughts please
