I use 3 screens with my trusty Dell XPS. I am starting to edit 4k video footage and need a PC that can do this, would it be expensive to build or hard? I'd need 32GB ram at least and a solid state drive and to be able to run 3 ultra HD screens.
It all depends on what you class as expensive, and how competent you are at building pcs? If you are using it to just edit 4k video, maybe consider an Apple Mac Mini.
TBH if you need to ask then I would suggest that you shouldn't be attempting a first time build on a 4K video editing machine given the costs involved. As the previous answerers (in your other post) have said get a system builder to custom build you a machine and be guided by their advice. For a small builders premium let them take the hassle and provide the warranty
Looking to buy a pc to edit 4k videos from drones. Is there any off the shelf ones I can get that will work say from Dell etc. Must be able to cope with 4k editing. Thanks
