    I've just bought the 3910 + 3805 and will link using the Denon Link cable. Am I right in thinking that this only transfers the sound? If so, would component be the best option to transfer picture?

    Yes Denon Link will only transfer sound (but no SACD) , as for which is the best video connection, that will depend on your display device & options available to it.

    Thanks for the reply, it will be conntcted to the 3805 then to a PW6 via component>VGA cable...
