Some excellent photography on this site starting with that photo from the air of Venice. I've just spend quite a while looking through the other photos and there are some spectacular photos

They had an exhibition of pictures like these outside the Natural History museum during the summer. Absolutely stunning photographs  May well have been this collection.

Not quite as pretty but if anyone wants an aerial shot of their house, type your postcode into streetmap.co.uk and click on the camera icon next to where it says "Large Map".

I've made up some good "real" maps by pasting these tiles together. It only tends to cover large cities though, so no luck if you live out in the country.

Couldn't see a camera icon next to large map when I looked up my postcode. I live in Sheffield which is a pretty large city but perhaps it's not big enough?

It takes a bit of seraching to find the right pics, but I have made a couple of framed posters at home from this site: Visable Earth

They have lods of satalite picture stores in large file formats (Some massive TIFF images).
