E4 and Channel 4

Hello,

Would anybody be abe to tell me if they have any problems with e4 or channel 4 clipping the picture. When I watch anything it has the right and left side cut off on big brother I got 've' of live from the top corner.

This is the only channel this happens to my tv and sky both set to 16:9. Every other channel is fine.

Can someone help ?

sounds like maybe your tv is set to the wrong format? i.e widescreen 16:9 or "normal" 4:3. Get it a lot with films.

no have been through every option 4:3, full ect and no difference!

Only these channels.

i'm stuck then, usually when i get that i know i'm on the wrong pricure format. I remember on older TVs there was a setting to "move" the picture left or right but i'm sure newer TV's dont have this.

Can someone confirm that these channels are fine and thats its just me and my tv.

working fine on mine. Example from more4 - widescreen ok, 4:3letterbox ok, 4:3 half of "more4" symbol cut off. E4 "live" in top right ok in all formats.

Its now been fixed. For some silly reason my 16:9 was 4:3 all along.

Now fixed and girlfriend happy bunny!!!

glad you got it sorted, it is one of the most annoying things in the world a slightly clipped picture. well it is to me!
