How much difference is there between the Toshiba HD E1 and the HD XE! on upscaling? Is the XE 1 that much better?

As Nic indicates, the E1 beats pretty much anything in its general price class plus most a grade above. The XE1 beats or matches pretty much anything else.

Thanks, pretty much as I suspected. I was thinking of having a XE1 for HD and not bothering with Blu ray until it drops in price somewhat. The upscaling should be more than good enough to compensate.
